YOP4: Week 52. So long, farewell, year 4

YOP year 5.. Impatiently Waiting

Only a week and a half  until the start of year 5. My list needs to be shrunk down. I know already I will not have enough time so make all those projects. My hook challenge is back. This year I have a theme. Seasonal / Holiday. There are about 2 -4 projects per hook. I think I have something for each season. Its a fun list, unlike my last list. I switched out so many patterns. I have one item left on my current challenge list. D hook. My main list will consist of items for my shop ( besides hats) , Amigurumis , a few clothing items for me and more. I spent days going through projects on Ravelry , mainly my library and favorites. I will be teaching myself how to knit, dye yarn and crochet left handed. Also taking a few projects out of hibernation. I will be finishing the Broadway Blanket and Boston Bruin blanket and maybe start another one. I really don't think I will have enough yarn for all this. A few items on my main list I will have to purchase the pattern so I will h

For the love of the game....

I love playing Plants vs. Zombies on my kindle. I almost have the game beat! A few weeks ago I was looking through amigurumi patterns and I found this adorable peashooter and snow pea pattern by Aradiya's Toys. Instantly I knew I had to make this. But someone saw I was making one and wanted one of her own .. I know her so I don't mind giving my first peashooter to her. :) I started at about 8 am :)  Isnt he cute ?!!!!!

Mermaid CAL

Have I ever told you how much I love Ravelry  ? One place that has amazing patterns, amazing people and amazing groups. One group I am particularly fond of is Crochet & Amigurumi, swap one .  I have participated in a few swaps so far. And received wonderful amigurumis . For June and July Sarah ( LittlePandCompany) asked who wanted to make Mermaids with her. I love mermaids so I said I was in. For June I am making Camilia   .Samantha, another member of the group is making an Ariel inspired mermaid using this pattern. I have her head done and will be finishing the rest over the next couple of days. I haven't decided what I should do with her hair. This is my first doll ami. For July, I am joining Sarah in making Mermaid Houseguest  . I ordered her eyes last week so I should have them soon.  More updates soon.
