Year of Projects3: week 3

this week was a sad week. after volunteering to help out a friend with her consignment shop, she decided to close the shop :(  it's a cute shop with a good selection but the shop is in a bad location.not many other shops around to get business from. about 3 miles away there are 4 more consignment shops.

Anyway... from week 2 i started a baby princess crown as part of my crochet hook challenge using a size E hook.
the picture below shows the same pattern, same hook but different size yarn so I have different size crown. the pink one is a baby size. the aqua one fits me.


The scarf below isnt on my list of projects... I just wanted to show it off :) I made it for a raffle .

YOP year 5? Seriously?

I can't believe it's year 5 already....... this is my 3rd year participating. The last few days have been productive for me .I made a schedule for the next few months so I stay on track. I STARTED and  FINISHED the Zero lovey that was part of my hook challenge. It will be given to my cousin Ryder ( I really like that name ) due in October. I played with the pictures a little in editing. Its something different. ****** I got on the C2C bandwagon and started a few of my own. It is so addicting!! I love this!  I ran out of yarn for this one........ so I started this one. ( full skein not pictured)  ****** Also, I "dusted off" the Boston Bruin Blanket squares and started sewing them together. YOP 4: week 7

Another post about the Mario Blanket. I have sewed rows 1 and 2 . I made 8 brown squares and 3 more tan squares, just to see what the blanket will look like this week. and thats about it...lol so sad. I am thinking for next week I will post something else :)  Weekly Mario Blanket Square Count  Red: 35 of 45 done Tan: 20 of 42 done Brown: 8 of 54 done Light blue: 50 of 109 done Yellow: 2 of 2 done.
