After months of looking for the right K hook project for my hook challenge, I finally found something.
I found this pattern on ravelry . Candy Apple Fall Cabled Baguette. I need a new bag badly so this perfect.
I am using yarn from my stash. I've had it for about a year. Lion Brand Hometown U.S.A. in Minneapolis Purple. There only a few rows to go.  I will be stitching to black for the trim and handle.

YOP year 5? Seriously?

I can't believe it's year 5 already....... this is my 3rd year participating. The last few days have been productive for me .I made a schedule for the next few months so I stay on track. I STARTED and  FINISHED the Zero lovey that was part of my hook challenge. It will be given to my cousin Ryder ( I really like that name ) due in October. I played with the pictures a little in editing. Its something different. ****** I got on the C2C bandwagon and started a few of my own. It is so addicting!! I love this!  I ran out of yarn for this one........ so I started this one. ( full skein not pictured)  ****** Also, I "dusted off" the Boston Bruin Blanket squares and started sewing them together. Its a bit tricking as you can see.... Why do I punish myself.. hehe my full project list can be found here .

YOP 4: week 7

Another post about the Mario Blanket. I have sewed rows 1 and 2 . I made 8 brown squares and 3 more tan squares, just to see what the blanket will look like this week. and thats about it...lol so sad. I am thinking for next week I will post something else :)  Weekly Mario Blanket Square Count  Red: 35 of 45 done Tan: 20 of 42 done Brown: 8 of 54 done Light blue: 50 of 109 done Yellow: 2 of 2 done.
