YOP5 weeks 9,10, and 11

I FINISHED the Boston Bruin blanket!!!! You can see that post here. No need to post about it again. :)

I learned a new stitch! Reverse single crochet/ crab stitch. I love it. A big thanks to Moogly!
My zombie sock monkey hat will be so cute once I finished it. The crab stitch is the red row after the white row.

Also I finished the Rainbow scarf. I want to add pockets.

On my down time I've been making hearts to scatter for the Peyton Heart project. .

I added a few more rows to my fiance's c2c blanket, but didn't take a picture of it .

The Halloween rush is starting. That's why barely anything is accomplished and I am doing 3 weeks in one post. Hopefully I can get in some time to make some Halloween decorations. I have a few patterns on my Hook Challenge list I want to make.

P.s . Please post your blog so I can comment back :)

  2. Perfect timing for your Boston Bruins blanket - training camps are just starting. And now that you see it all put together, it looks amazing. AND HUGE! What a great lot of work and fabulous job.

The Zombie Sock Monkey looks interesting. Is it a Halloween thing?

Good for your for participating in the Peyton Heart Project. I've read a little something about it, and if even a single heart and its message give a lift to someone struggling, then how wonderful is that?!

  7. That rainbow scarf is absolutely adorable!!! And the hearts are sweet and such a good cause. I recently lost a neighbor to suicide and knit a bunch of hats to give to the Stomp Out Suicide cause here in MN. Anything to bring more awareness is a good thing.

YOP year 5? Seriously?

I can't believe it's year 5 already....... this is my 3rd year participating. The last few days have been productive for me .I made a schedule for the next few months so I stay on track. I STARTED and  FINISHED the Zero lovey that was part of my hook challenge. It will be given to my cousin Ryder ( I really like that name ) due in October. I played with the pictures a little in editing. Its something different. ****** I got on the C2C bandwagon and started a few of my own. It is so addicting!! I love this!  I ran out of yarn for this one........ so I started this one. ( full skein not pictured)  ****** Also, I "dusted off" the Boston Bruin Blanket squares and started sewing them together. Its a bit tricking as you can see.... Why do I punish myself.. hehe my full project list can be found here .

YOP5 week 5: I should be crocheting

Yes I should be crocheting instead of sitting at my computer. I have a big list that won't finish itself . This week I have been mainly working on my Lily Pond blanket. I just want to finish it so I can see what it looks like. This blanket is NOT on my YOP list.  I've also been planning out my craft area. Its at the end of a hallway in our little apartment. It has 3 long shelves and cabinets on the left sides. (mostly filled with my MIL's stuff.) What I want to do is clean off the shelves ( i hate clutter) and organize my crochet and other craft stuff.  My cat uses that area to eat. As you can see in the bottom left picture.  All my yarn is in one of the cabinets ( bottom left pic- with the bags) and I have a shoe rack on the side of the door for yarn I want to use in a project and my works in progress.  I have moved most of the stuff at the end of the hallway , in the top pic, the block box and the vacuum that does not work. I cleaned off most off the se...
