YOP5 week 32

Someone needs to take away my yarn! Well until I finish the many many WIPS I have yet to lay my hands on again, This past week I started 4 new projects.

So these I was against making because I don't need another blanket. But I am making them anyway.
If you haven't seen this .. Its called Emoji C2C graphgan by Repeat Crafter Me.

I am not keeping the gold emoji since it doesn't match the others. That's the one I started with and realized I didn't like it. There are 9 in the set plus 2 bonus squares. So I have 3 plus the replacement left and maybe the 2 bonus and one I will create myself.

Since I am now addicted to C2C ( corner to corner) ... anything ( I found a pattern for a cat scarf..lol ) , I just can't stop.. While in the middle of one emoji square I started another but not of an emoji. I was looking for other patterns and I found a Whovian CAL by Two Hearts Crochet . I am not much of a Dr Who fan so this CAL probably wont be started but I do like the Don't Blink square ..

This is all I have so far..lol Half double crochet instead of double crochet stitches .

And these 2 projects I stated last night...
Bunny Ears flag by Snappy tots

And I am giving this hearts scarf another try.. when I bought it when it first came out I gave up on it for some reason ( also by Snappy Tots).

Well thats it for this week. Something WILL be finished by next week for sure!!!!

P.S. My Foxy Hat was featured on the top 5 on the Linky Ladies Blog.

  2. The Emojis are awesome! Although I see what you mean about the gold one; it doesn't pop like the others do.

Sometimes I can go back to a pattern years later with new appreciation (and skills) so hopefully the hearts scarf works out this time!

  4. I love the corner to corner and have introduced to a couple of people this year. I'm glad to know that others love to start but don't always finish before the next project too. I am always on the look out for the next great project! Thanks for sharing

YOP year 5? Seriously?

I can't believe it's year 5 already....... this is my 3rd year participating. The last few days have been productive for me .I made a schedule for the next few months so I stay on track. I STARTED and  FINISHED the Zero lovey that was part of my hook challenge. It will be given to my cousin Ryder ( I really like that name ) due in October. I played with the pictures a little in editing. Its something different. ****** I got on the C2C bandwagon and started a few of my own. It is so addicting!! I love this!  I ran out of yarn for this one........ so I started this one. ( full skein not pictured)  ****** Also, I "dusted off" the Boston Bruin Blanket squares and started sewing them together. Its a bit tricking as you can see.... Why do I punish myself.. hehe my full project list can be found here .
