WIP Wednesday: Hello again Lily Pond Blanket

Its been awhile since I have worked on my lily pond blanket. With the new Crochet along by Jane Crawford posted yesterday ( and I so want to make it!!) I thought I should finish last years blanket before I start a new one.

If I put my mind to it, I can finish the lily pond this month! I have 3 blocks to make and then I have to crochet every piece together.



This wonderful mess above is what I accomplished last night. I crocheted blocks 3 and 4  and 6 and 3. which are the side panels.

YOP year 5? Seriously?

I can't believe it's year 5 already....... this is my 3rd year participating. The last few days have been productive for me .I made a schedule for the next few months so I stay on track. I STARTED and  FINISHED the Zero lovey that was part of my hook challenge. It will be given to my cousin Ryder ( I really like that name ) due in October. YOP 4: week 7

Another post about the Mario Blanket. I have sewed rows 1 and 2 . I made 8 brown squares and 3 more tan squares, just to see what the blanket will look like this week. and thats about it...lol so sad. I am thinking for next week I will post something else :)  Weekly Mario Blanket Square Count  Red: 35 of 45 done Tan: 20 of 42 done Brown: 8 of 54 done Light blue: 50 of 109 done Yellow: 2 of 2 done.
