I learned something new-- thanks MOOGLY

I have learned most stitches ( I call then non standard) from moogly.com . If I need to know a certain stitch for a project, I type it into google and the first video or tutorial is , 9 out of 10 times , from Moogly/Tamera Kelly.

As part of my A Year of Projects , I wanted to learn how to make a Standing Double Crochet. I've been crocheting for  4 years and I had no idea this stitch existed! I hate chaining when I add a new color to the project I am working on.

Now my Temperature blanket squares will look better :) no more chains!

YOP year 5? Seriously?

I can't believe it's year 5 already....... this is my 3rd year participating. The last few days have been productive for me .I made a schedule for the next few months so I stay on track. YOP 4: week 7

Another post about the Mario Blanket. I have sewed rows 1 and 2 . I made 8 brown squares and 3 more tan squares, just to see what the blanket will look like this week. and thats about it...lol so sad. I am thinking for next week I will post something else :)  Weekly Mario Blanket Square Count  Red: 35 of 45 done Tan: 20 of 42 done Brown: 8 of 54 done Light blue: 50 of 109 done Yellow: 2 of 2 done.
