If you are a local Rhode Islander,( or C onnecticut)   then mark your calendars for April 28.  A Kouple of BasKet Kases are hosting a Krafting for a Kure spring Kraft show. Benefits go to THE RELAY FOR LIFE.It will be held at the Calabrese Club in Westerly. I will be there, of course and so will my boyfriend's sister. Her and a friend started Barry's Girlz Photography after their close friend Barry passed away.  I have a long list of things I want to make. mugs hugs, Ipad covers, barefoot sandals, bags, headbands, jewelry, wash cloths, trivits.... as i finish items I will post them here for all to see. maybe a new pattern will come out of it :)  Have a wonderful Easter . 

I have to say the blanket I am making for my first niece is coming along great. I will post pics soon :) less than 2 months and she will be here!! YAY!! I can't wait!! 

I was checking out my list ( a few posts down) and I noticed I need to update it a bit from my original ( paper list). 1. make 13 crochet patterns and 13 loom patterns.   Update : crochet: Blessings Chemo cap                loom: Loom Chemo Cap                       Shelly fingerless mitts    2. adopt 13 centers for my Halos of Hope New England team    Update: done. 3. Make 13 chemo caps for each cap drive ( HOHNE).     Update:  The first cap drive of the tear was a hit. The Breast Health Center in Providence received about 50 caps. I think I made about 10. The Spring theme cap drive is going on right now... With a new year comes new possibilities. Knits by Erin turned one this past November. Not a great year for my new business but I learned alot. Which I will apply to this year. *Maybe I should follow trends but with my own unique style.... *Get more involved with people. I am in alot of groups on FB and ravelry. *Challenge myself. *Stop being so damn shy and get out there. Craft Shows and Flea markets here I come!! *Teach! loom knitting is very fun. Start out with friends , then expand to more people when ready. *Make sure I am up to date with Crochet Corner. * Charity, charity, charity. I am in this group called 13 13 in 2013. its  a group for people who like to use up their stash, organize their projects and yarn and love to do the 13 different items/challenges 13 times.  I joined because I need something to get me motivated :)  Here is my list.... hint hint people!!!! :) I have this fb friend who loves my work :) she is my most valued customer :) she has more of my creations than my mom did. from jewelry to the knitted and croocheted things I make. This week I am working on a scarf for her son. This is the third scarf for him... second one this month :) I am not going to tell you what it is til I am done .. the other scarf was Beemo. A child's cartoon character. He's so cute and it was fun to make.  But after this week, I will need more orders. The reason I love custom orders is because its personalized. From the color to size  to the detail. Plus I am not a mind reader..lol  The scarf above was $20. With someone else it could of been more.  Supplies + time... I think $20 was reasonable :)  I dont over charge, there is no bogus charges and I keep shipping low as possible. I ship out a lot of stuff so I know what things cost.
