YOP5 week 38

ALICE IS DONE!! I am so proud of my Alice in Wonderland amigurumi!!! She is not perfect but I love her! I think this Snow White will be my next doll.. and these will be her dwarves :) ************* On this weeks list to sew together...  I need to find my pipe cleaners so I can insert one in each ear so they don't flop to the sides. Bunny flag. I love the garden flags that Snappy Tops makes.  ****** And another Corner2Corner project. I found this Whovian CAL a few months back . I was looking for other projects for C2C. I am not a big Dr. Who fan..(someday I will finish watching it on Netflix), But I know a group of ladies that might go crazy over the bag I plan to make with the panels. This one is the 10th dr, The other panel I will be using is the DW panel.

YOP5 week 37

I wasn't planning on posting anything this week since I have a cold from hell. I have no voice right now and it sucks. my cat looks at me weird..lol  My "hey kitty kitty" sounds a bit creepy.. :) I don't think my list will ever be completed. I keep seeing things I want to make and they're not on my list so when I add them my list just gets longer... that's a bad Erin! I haven't posted anything in a few weeks so I NEED to do this :) This first project is actually part of my 16 in 2016 ... but I sorta have a theme for this week... any guesses on what that could be? hehe Its getting so warm here in RI I might not be able to wear this on Thursday with out looking silly.  (Pattern by Repeat Crafter Me) These I can definitely wear no mater what the weather is :) Beer mug coasters ... I dont drink beer but that are cute anyway! (pattern by Divine Debris ) **************** Back to my list...  I sewed on the arms and head...

For the love of the game....

I love playing Plants vs. Zombies on my kindle. I almost have the game beat! A few weeks ago I was looking through amigurumi patterns and I found this adorable peashooter and snow pea pattern by Aradiya's Toys. Instantly I knew I had to make this. But someone saw I was making one and wanted one of her own .. I know her so I don't mind giving my first peashooter to her. :) I started at about 8 am :)  Isnt he cute ?!!!!!

Mermaid CAL

Have I ever told you how much I love Ravelry  ? One place that has amazing patterns, amazing people and amazing groups. One group I am particularly fond of is Crochet & Amigurumi, swap one .  I have participated in a few swaps so far. And received wonderful amigurumis . For June and July Sarah ( LittlePandCompany) asked who wanted to make Mermaids with her. I love mermaids so I said I was in. For June I am making Camilia   .Samantha, another member of the group is making an Ariel inspired mermaid using this pattern. I have her head done and will be finishing the rest over the next couple of days. I haven't decided what I should do with her hair. This is my first doll ami. For July, I am joining Sarah in making Mermaid Houseguest  . I ordered her eyes last week so I should have them soon.  More updates soon.

YOP 4 week 48

Welcome to the last day of May. In 30 days YOP 5 will begin. Is your list ready? Probably not :) and that's ok. My year 5 list is gonna be crazy. Not just projects but I want to teach myself a few things on this journey. But there is a hook challenge I need to finish first. For my J hook I made a Big Ass Octopus ( pattern by Charlotte W .) I also used a g ( 4.5mm ) hook. This was the only pattern I liked ( and wanted to make) that wasn't a scarf, cowl, or basket. I also wanted to make another Amigurumi ( this makes 4 for YOP) . Her head is HUGE  :) but o so cute. I just need to finish the tentacles , add her eyes and sew her together.  For my N hook I wanted to make something other than a cowl, basket or scarf, Like the L .  I haven't used PLARN so this was a great challenge. I had a project queued up but once I started I didn't like it so I went the extremely easy route and made a granny square. I used small doggie poo bags. I bough...
