Halloween orders are done!!!

Now to get back to my Year of Projects list. My hooks and yarn decided not to continue without me. what a bummer!

I didn't break my 99 hats record from last year but I did ok. Came close. Cabbage Patch kid hats are still most popular, followed by Edith hats from Despicable Me and a few Lego hats. I added anger from Inside Out but limited them to just 10. Sold out in about 3 weeks.  :)  I am kinda sad that not one Minion was ordered.

I don't get Christmas orders so I have next to nothing to do. I have Jon's shark blanket to remake now since I have enough skeins of the same dye lot.
There are scarves for the homeless to be made and a few scarves or headbands I want to make for Maine's Special Olympics, the only New England state asking for items.

I sit here debating whether or not to make a few Halloween items I had on my list. One that sticks out is the Wicked Tutu bag by Heidi Yates. I bought it, might as well make it, hehe . It would make a great bag for Jon and I's weekend getaway ( previously our honeymoon. our officiant bailed and we dont have a back up so we have to postpone. it was going to be small so its not a big deal.) . So the bag and it being Halloween this Saturday, it would be perfect. And I love witches !
My current fave witch. Wicked Witch from my fave show Once Upon a Time!!

I should start now since we leave on Friday. So much for giving my hands a rest.

YOP5 week 34

Motivation to finish my list is highly needed!! My hook challenge isn't doing too well. All those projects are holiday related and I've missed a few. Its silly to make Christmas items a few weeks before St, Patrick's day . But I did FINISH something thing week!! Guess how many skeins it took to finish this blanket?

YOP year 5? Seriously?

I can't believe it's year 5 already....... this is my 3rd year participating. The last few days have been productive for me .I made a schedule for the next few months so I stay on track. I STARTED and  FINISHED the Zero lovey that was part of my hook challenge. It will be given to my cousin Ryder ( I really like that name ) due in October. I played with the pictures a little in editing. Its something different. ****** I got on the C2C bandwagon and started a few of my own. It is so addicting!! I love this!  I ran out of yarn for this one........ so I started this one. ( full skein not pictured)  ****** Also, I "dusted off" the Boston Bruin Blanket squares and started sewing them together. Its a bit tricking as you can see.... Why do I punish myself.. hehe my full project list can be found here .
