I didnt miss it ! This is the 6th annual Knitting and Crochet blog week! My first and not my last!

Today's topic is : If you were yarn.

Let me just say I love yarn!

This was an easy topic for me. When I read it I instantly knew what I would be If I were yarn. Its soft and fluffy! (like me)  and it comes from the cutest animals .....

If you haven't guessed yet... If I were yarn I would be
ALPACA

I made a cowl for a swap a few years ago . She wanted something soft. So I used alpaca. I love the feel of it. I used Bernat Alpaca in wheat.  I had to loom knit the cowl since I don't know how to knit with needles yet. ( I'm a hooker :)  )

I love how it came out and I wish I didn't have to give it away.

I hope you come back tomorrow.
Until then, Stay awesome.

  1. Beautiful Cowl, you should make it again for yourself! I love yarn too (don't we all?) and love alpaca. I'm hooking a shawl in it at the moment...

  4. I have a couple skeins of baby alpaca that were gifted to me! I'm paranoid that I'll mess up with it so it just sits in my shelf, but at least it's petted a lot. Maybe one day I'll find a project worth using it on!

YOP5 week 34

Motivation to finish my list is highly needed!! My hook challenge isn't doing too well. All those projects are holiday related and I've missed a few. Its silly to make Christmas items a few weeks before St, Patrick's day . But I did FINISH something thing week!! Guess how many skeins it took to finish this blanket?

YOP year 5? Seriously?

I can't believe it's year 5 already....... this is my 3rd year participating. The last few days have been productive for me .I made a schedule for the next few months so I stay on track. I STARTED and  FINISHED the Zero lovey that was part of my hook challenge. It will be given to my cousin Ryder ( I really like that name ) due in October. I played with the pictures a little in editing. Its something different. ****** I got on the C2C bandwagon and started a few of my own. It is so addicting!! I love this!  I ran out of yarn for this one........ so I started this one. ( full skein not pictured)  ****** Also, I "dusted off" the Boston Bruin Blanket squares and started sewing them together. Its a bit tricking as you can see.... Why do I punish myself.. hehe my full project list can be found here .
