YOP5 week 42 and 43

First I want to thank everyone for the  birthday wishes.  <3

I spent some time on the Lily Pond.

And I am making another version of Snappy Tots Buggy Garden flag. Last year I made the Lady bug. This year I am making the bee.

 I finished the Sunflower curtain!

I have to share this, Its not every day you see a pig walking around your yard unless you live on or close to a farm. which we do not. This oinker spent about 15 minutes making a mess of the yard looking for food..lol I was going to call animal control but he wondered out the same way he came in so I guess he wasn't lost.

To my fellow YOPers, I made a few banners for year 6 and I will post them in the ravelry group in June.  Again, plain but cute.

And one last thing... Rest in Paradise sweet Prince :(
my video of when doves cry was removed.

  1. Wow, the lily pond is coming along so well and the curtain is gorgeous. Thank you for the banners, they are very much appreciated. I hope you had a lovely birthday and I agree - it is my favorite too (RIP)

  2. Love your Lily Pond and the curtains! I hope you had a great birthday and although I was not in the "Prince" generation, I'm sad for his family and fans as evidently he was quite a talented man.
Also, thank you for your YOP banner....I didn't know who made it last year so Thank You and how thoughtful you are to make one for this year!

YOP5 week 34

Motivation to finish my list is highly needed!! My hook challenge isn't doing too well. All those projects are holiday related and I've missed a few. Its silly to make Christmas items a few weeks before St, Patrick's day . But I did FINISH something thing week!! Guess how many skeins it took to finish this blanket?

YOP year 5? Seriously?

I can't believe it's year 5 already....... this is my 3rd year participating. The last few days have been productive for me .I made a schedule for the next few months so I stay on track. I STARTED and  FINISHED the Zero lovey that was part of my hook challenge. It will be given to my cousin Ryder ( I really like that name ) due in October. I played with the pictures a little in editing. Its something different. ****** I got on the C2C bandwagon and started a few of my own. It is so addicting!! I love this!  I ran out of yarn for this one........ so I started this one. ( full skein not pictured)  ****** Also, I "dusted off" the Boston Bruin Blanket squares and started sewing them together. Its a bit tricking as you can see.... Why do I punish myself.. hehe my full project list can be found here .
